About
Alina Hibbert is a photographer based in Bristol. Known for her bright and colourful personality and her extensive knowledge and experience in the natural and botanical.
Her affliction for nature is rooted in her upbringing, most notably through her dad working as a gardener, who taught her the foundations of horticulture. When she was given her first digital camera at age seven photography soon became a hobby. She realised the visual medium was an outlet to demonstrate her appreciation of what our beautiful world has to offer.
During her BA studies at the University of South Wales,2016-2019, she experimented with various genres of photography such as editorial and fashion – the latter becoming a particular interest and refreshing contrast. Through collaborating with creative minds across fashion and beauty, she utilised the shoots to push herself outside of her comfort zone and developed her creative skills.
After pursuing fashion photography for a while, Alina realised the flowers were calling her back. Her heart truly lies in researching, conceptualising and producing projects based around horticulture and the natural world.
